How it works

  1. Choose your goal: Tell us what you want to learn (e.g., email, apps, photos).
  2. Program time: Every Tuesday during school term. Check our Program Calendar.
  3. Bring your device: Phone, tablet, or laptop - don't forget your charger too.
  4. Learn at your pace: Patient, friendly support for all levels.
  5. Cost: Free or you may donate a gold coin.

Marg Simmons is a patient, practical tutor who has helped people of all ages become more confident with technology. She specialises in beginner-friendly support, online safety, and real-life tasks like photos, apps, and filling in online forms.

Marg meets you where you are - no jargon, just clear steps. Whether it’s setting up a new phone, learning video calls with family, or getting comfortable with emails, Marg will guide you at your pace.

Tip: Bring a notepad, your passwords (safely stored), and your charger so you can practise hands-on.

Do I need experience?
No. Beginners welcome.

What should I bring?
Your device, charger, login details (kept private), and any questions.

Can a family member come?
Yes - support people are welcome.

Is there accessibility support?
Step-free access at both venues. Let us know if you need larger print, a quieter space, or extra time.

What about privacy?
We’ll never store your passwords. We’ll show you how to manage them securely.
