Weekly community art classes for all skill levels. Build your drawing and painting skills in a relaxed, supportive space.
About the Class

Everyone is welcome—from beginners to experienced artists. Karen guides you step-by-step while encouraging your own style. Bring your curiosity; we provide a warm, social space to create.

What to bring: Your favourite pencils or paints if you have them. We have shared materials for first-timers. Tea and coffee provided.

  • Foundations of drawing: line, tone, proportion, and perspective
  • Painting skills: colour mixing, brushwork, composition
  • Mixed media and creative experimentation
  • Constructive feedback and gentle guidance

When: Thursdays, 10:30 am – 12:30 pm during school terms

Fees: Free to all. Gold coin donation appreciated.

Build towards showcasing your work at our Annual Art & Sewing Exhibition. Karen and the group can help you choose and prepare pieces, write simple labels, and set up your display with confidence.

We also share local opportunities and community events where you can display or sell your art.
